Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson was sentenced to 12 months probation in Gwinnett County after pleading guilty to DUI Tuesday.

Anderson, 43, also pleaded guilty to DUI in Hall County, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He will not face jail time, but will be forced to avoid alcohol as part of his sentence.

Anderson was arrested in Hall County in September on Friendship Road near Deaton Creek Parkway after police say he completed a sobriety test, but refused an alcohol sensor or blood alcohol test.

He was first stopped for failing to maintain lane.

In Gwinnett, Anderson was arrested in November 2014 after officers found him unconscious in his car along Interstate 85.

He played for the Falcons from 1994 until 2001, and now lives in Braselton.

Jamal Anderson, 43, was arrested in Hall County in September 2015.
