More details released in missing Hall County teen case

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has released more details about the Brooklyn Smith abduction case.
 
Tuesday, Alpharetta Police confirmed the 13 year old girl had been found and her father, Steven Spires, was in custody.
 
According to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Smith and Spires were located at the Liberty Inn on Pio Nono Avenue after reports that the two were spotted in the Macon.
 
The Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Crimes and Crimes Against Children units led the apprehension and arrest of Spires, 32, of Locust Grove, with the help of Bibb County, the release stated. He is being held in Bibb County for the Alpharetta Police Department.
 
Bibb County authorities say Smith was ok and has been turned over to the FBI.
 
Smith had been reported missing January 14 and was previously reported missing and located with her father over the summer.
