Baseball: Rain causes postponements for Friday's action

GAINESVILLE -- Just when everyone was catching up from Monday's postponements, the weather has once again disrupted the prep baseball schedule.

Rain in the north Georgia area early Friday already has caused several cancellations for Friday's action. We will update on accessWDUN as the cancellations are reported to us.

The Banks County at Dawson County game was moved to 7 p.m. Friday while the Franklin County at Lumpkin County game has been pushed back to a 7:30 p.m. first pitch for Friday.

Friday’s prep baseball postponements (that have reported changes):

Banks County at Dawson County, moved to 7 p.m., Friday

Franklin County at Lumpkin County, moved to 7:30 p.m., Friday

Johnson at Buford, postponed, 2 p.m., Saturday

East Hall at West Hall, postponed, 5:55 p.m., Saturday

Salem at Flowery Branch, postponed, 5:55 p.m., Saturday

Chestatee at North Hall, postponed, 6:30 p.m., Saturday

Original schedule for Friday, April 10 (all games at 5:55 p.m.)

Banks County at Dawson County

East Hall at West Hall

Franklin County at Lumpkin County

Habersham Central at Lambert

Jefferson at Jackson County (doubleheader)

Johnson at Buford

Chestatee at North Hall

Salem at Flowery Branch

White County at Monroe Area

Winder-Barrow at Gainesville

North Hall's Micah Strickland. The Trojans' game with Chestatee has been moved from Friday to Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Jody Davis Field.
