Piedmont University will host a concert featuring Atlanta-based band, Bogey and the Viceroy, on Sept. 20 at the Arrendale Amphitheater.
University officials said that the concert will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for stadium seating are $25.
"We are thrilled to open our doors to the community, inviting everyone to share in the joy of music,” university president Marshall M. Criser, III said. “Bringing everyone together strengthens both our university and the community and creates a vibrant environment where both education and the arts flourish.”
Known for their high-energy dance party performances, Bogey & the Viceroy is an eight-piece band featuring a dynamic horn section and powerful female backing vocals.
The Varsity, Fresco’s, and Kona Ice will be vendors for the event.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring a stadium seat/cushion for amphitheater seats or a lawn chair for the grassy area.
