ATHENS, Ga. – Jefferson beat Clarke Central for the fourth straight season Friday night when they took down the Glads 42-10.
Max Brown got the scoring started early in the first with his first touchdown of the night from 22 yards out. Eli Primm kept things going, punching it in from the 2-yard line to take the lead out to 14-0.
The Dragons kept their foot on the gas as Colton Grant found Dalton Dye for a 65-yard strike to extend the lead to 21-0 in the first quarter.
Leading 21-3 at the break, Brown broke free for an 89-yard sprint on the opening kickoff of the second half to keep the scoring going. Brown followed that up with a 4-yard rushing score to take a 35-3 lead before Griffin Drake capped the scoring early in the fourth with a 12-yard score.
The Dragons will look to keep their hot start going next week at Stephens County.
