Hall County authorities are asking the public to help them find a woman who was last seen near Flowery Branch last week.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office issued a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying that Mariam Busola Oyedotun, age 33 of Sandy Springs, was last seen walking near Spout Springs Road after telling her family she was interviewing for a job as a nanny in the area.

"A family member contacted law enforcement on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, when they were unable to get in touch with Mariam," the sheriff's office said. "Mariam apparently arrived for her interview just after 5:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22. She contacted her relative just after 6 p.m. to say the position had been filled and that her phone was low on battery power. The relative had no further contact with her."

Deputies said Oyedotun had traveled for the interview by Uber and that she was last seen walking toward Spout Springs Road from the Lancaster Crossing subdivision just south of Union Circle at around 7 p.m. that evening.

"Numerous attempts to reach Mariam by phone have been unsuccessful. Investigators have checked local hospitals with no success," the sheriff's office said.

Oyedotun is described as standing 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with short black braided hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen wearing a gray bodysuit with shorts.

Anyone with information on Oyedotun's location is asked to contact the sheriff's office by calling 911 or 770-536-8812, extension 8. Those with information can also email investigator Bray at [email protected].
