BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. – Union County found themselves on the wrong end of a 42-20 final score at home Friday night against Gilmer.
The Panthers turned the ball over three times in the first half, setting them behind early. Union County battled back in the second half, but the hole was too deep to dig out of.
Haze Burnett had a pair of receiving touchdowns from quarterback Kamden Kendrick in the loss.
Union County will travel to Fannin County next week.
