White County Fire Services rescue dog from Chattahoochee River

Officials in White County rescued a dog from the Chattahoochee River Friday afternoon. 
 
A release from White County Public Safety said Fire Services responded to the area of Goat Neck Road along the river after receiving a report that the elderly Pitbull had fallen down an embankment and was stuck in the water. 
 
Assistant Chief Josh Taylor and EMS Lieutenant Shad Sosebee entered the water and successfully retrieved the dog. 
 
Habersham Emergency Services also responded and provided assistance, according to WCPS. 
 
 
 
White County Services rescued the elderly Pitbull Friday afternoon.
