One person is reportedly injured after a car was hit by a tractor-trailer on Ga. 211 in the Braselton area Friday afternoon.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of 211 and Union Church Road. No details on how the crash happened have been released, but the sheriff's office said one person was injured and was being taken to a nearby hospital.
"The southbound lane of SR 211 is closed," a social media post by the sheriff's office said. "Deputies are directing traffic around the wreck, but motorists can expect delays."
Eyewitness photos from the scene of the crash show a car down an embankment near the intersection.
