Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Georgia) visited the Yamaha Marine Innovation Center in Kennesaw, Georgia, on Aug. 8. Rep. Carter toured the 75,280 square foot facility, which houses the Yamaha Marine Connected Division as well as Yamaha U.S. Marine Development, Yamaha Marine Product Management and Yamaha Marine Technical Marketing. He met with employees to learn more about Yamaha’s current career opportunities as well as the company’s economic impact in Georgia. In addition, Carter learned more about Yamaha’s latest advancements in sustainable technology, including the hydrogen-powered outboard and the hydrogen golf car.
