A Jefferson and Cumming resident recently won thousands of dollars playing the Georgia Lottery Diggi Games on the same day.
The Jefferson player hit two separate jackpots on Aug. 8 on the Georgia Lottery website, winning $20,000 playing Lucky Coins and another $20,000 playing Fishing for Gold.
The player from Cumming won $10,000 playing Elephant King Jackpots.
Diggi Games are exclusively on the Georgia Lottery website and mobile app. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from the Diggi Games benefit education in the state.
Other recent winners included a Woodstock resident winning the $1-million top prize playing the Georgia Lottery Millionaire Maker scratcher. The player opted to take the cash, claiming $505,685 on Aug. 8.
An Acworth resident won $125,000 in the Aug. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing.
