All lanes of I-985 northbound were shut down for some time early Sunday morning following a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer just before the Wade Orr Bridge.
Social media posts from the Hall County sheriff's office indicated that southbound lanes also closed while emergency personnel assisted with the accident. However, no details have been released regarding what caused the accident or if any injuries were sustained.
The roadway reopened just before 5:40 a.m., according to the social media post.
