More details are released behind a campsite altercation in White County that left several people hurt and four under arrest from late last weekend.
A press release from White County Sheriff's Office says their deputies were called to the Low Gap Campground on Low Gap Road on July 26,2025 for reports of an assault and stabbing. Deputies arrived to learn 44-year old Krista Wilson of Lula allegedly assaulted a female family member from Waco, Georgia. During that assault, the female allegedly stabbed Krista Wilson. Authorities also learned while that assault took place, the victim's 58-year old father was beaten and sustained a laceration to his throat area from a broken glass bottle, with a gash between the neck and ear areas. The adult male was taken to Northeast Georgia Medial Center Gainesville with critical injuries, while Krista Wilson was transported with serious injuries. During the ensuing investigation, White County officials say they learned a group of four individuals from Lula, Georgia assaulted the father, along with another daughter from Waco, Georgia.
Investigators then arrested the four suspects from Lula, which included Krista Wilson, as well as 42-year old Joshua Wilson, 32-year old Joshua Miller and 39-year old Charles Miller. All four are facing aggravated assault and battery charges while additional charges are pending.
The case remains under White County Sheriff's Office investigation.
