Sawnee EMC was recently recognized for high member satisfaction.
According to the electric cooperative, they recently received an American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) score of 94 out of 100.
“This year’s ACSI data demonstrates that Sawnee EMC continues to remain at the top with regard to overall customer satisfaction among participating Touchstone Energy cooperatives,” Sawnee EMC said in a press release.
The average score for an investor-owned utility is 74 and the average score for a municipal utility is 75. Sawnee EMC scored 20 and 19 points higher than those, respectively.
Sawnee EMC serves over 177,000 customers across Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, and Lumpkin counties.
“This year’s ACSI score provides a unique benchmark for us and our members and is a great measure of our members overall satisfaction with us as their cooperative,” Sawnee EMC President and CEO Michael A. Goodroe said in a release. “Our score further demonstrates that the Sawnee EMC staff works with one goal, to serve the members and provide them great service every day. We strive to accomplish these goals with one of our greatest assets - our knowledgeable staff and their dedication to member satisfaction.”
