A Lula man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly possessing child pornography.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office issued a statement Wednesday, saying Jaylen Malik Bell, age 18, was arrested after a two-month investigation into his online activity. That investigation reportedly started on May 16 when the sheriff's office got a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
"The investigation determined Mr. Bell uploaded multiple images of children involved in sexually explicit conduct to his email account," the sheriff's office's statement said.
Investigators got a warrant for Bell's arrest and interviewed him Tuesday at Hall County Sheriff's Office headquarters in Gainesville. He was arrested after that interview.
Bell faces six counts of sexual exploitation of children. As of Wednesday afternoon, he remained in the Hall County Jail without bond.
