While doing work on a backyard deck, Marc Miller, 43, suffered cardiac arrest.

Banks County Fire and Emergency Services crews arrived on the scene and initiated CPR and advanced life support measures that restored Miller’s pulse.

Miller was taken to a local hospital with continued cardiac care.

Thanks to the measures taken by Engine 31 and Med 3, Miller is now home and recovering.

Miller was recently reunited with the crews that helped save his life.
