Hall County Public Works and Utilities Director Bill Nash has announced his resignation from the position effective Aug. 15.
Hall County Government officials said Nash has served in the role of director since March 2024.
“Bill has been a tremendous leader throughout his five-year career at Hall County Government,” County Administrator Zach Propes said. “We are appreciative of his dedicated service to both the citizens and visitors of Hall County and wish him all the best as he moves forward in his career.”
Nash was hired as assistant director of public works and utilities in June 2020.
While serving Hall County, Nash worked on projects including the Friendship Road Sewer Project, the Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility Expansion, the White Sulphur Realignment and Cagle Road Improvements, Improvements made to the Hall County Landfill, the Spout Springs Road Widening Project and the Hall County Resurfacing Program.
Hall County Government has not decided on Nash’s successor.
