North Georgia Technical College recently announced that a new Farmers Market will be open to the public this summer.
The local community can visit the Farmers Market from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays throughout the summer at the Irvin Agriscience Complex, located near the greenhouses on Loop Road at the Clarkesville campus.
The new Farmers Market offers a variety of fresh summer vegetables from local vendors and flowers from the college Horticulture program.
All proceeds will benefit the Agriculture and Horticulture programs.
“We are so pleased to be able to offer this to our community,” said NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Stephanie Benson. “Our students take a lot of pride in their work, and we are happy we can allow the public to enjoy the fruit of the students’ labor while growing our programs.”
The Farmers Market will take place every Tuesday until Sept. 23, 2025.
