There were significant outages and road closures reported in northeast Georgia amid severe storms Tuesday night.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Facebook page, trees were across the roadway on Jim Crow Road, Honeysuckle Road, Chestatee Road, and Ladd Drive.
Trees and lines were also across the roadway on Hopewell Church Road and Mount Vernon Road.
As far as power outages, there were over 30,000 reported in the northeast Georgia area at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday night, but that number was reduced significantly during the overnight.

Georgia Power: Approximately 1,100 (Dawson Co. 300, Franklin Co. 10, Habersham Co. 30, Hall Co. 160, Lumpkin Co. 10, Rabun Co. 500, Stephens Co. 40, White Co. 100.)
Amicalola EMC: 300 (Cherokee Co. 160, Pickens Co. 70, Dawson Co. 50, Lumpkin Co. 20.)
Blue Ridge EMC: 12 (Union Co. 12.)
Hart EMC: 9 (Franklin Co. 8, Hart Co. 1)
