Hall County citizens will be experiencing delays on their tax assessment notices for an “indefinite period of time”. This is due to statewide delays updating the Tax Assessor and Tax Commissioner software packages for new rules on assessment and notification.
The Tax Accessors’ Office will start mailing 2025 assessment notices as soon as possible, but the delays remain statewide and impossible to reconcile at this time.
Steve Watson, Hall County Chief Appraiser, reminds the public that the situation is “out of our control” and apologizes for the increased difficulties at this time.
