The outdoor pickleball courts at Victor Lord Park will reopen on Monday after the completion of renovations.
Barrow County officials said the work doubles the capacity of pickleball courts from six to 12.
The project began in April and was completed under budget and ahead of schedule.
“Pickleball continues to be a popular offering for visitors at Victor Lord Park, and we could not be more excited to unveil the remodeled courts for our players,” Barrow County Parks and Recreation Director Zach Churchill said.
The pickleball courts received updated signage, new fencing, another entrance gate and resurfacing.
Victor Lord Park is located on 2nd Street in Winder.
