Two fires occurred in Hall County on Sunday according to Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
The first one happened on Bluffton Drive off of Athens Highway. 9-1-1 received a call about the house on fire and someone inside receiving help from neighbors to exit through a window.
Units arrived to find the two-story home with heavy fire throughout the attic of the residence.
After an attack, crews were able to bring the fire under control. Two individuals were transported for evaluation with non-life-threatening injuries and the American Red Cross was called for assistance.
According to HCFR, the house is most likely totaled.
The second fire occurred on Garden Boulevard off of Thompson Bridge Road.
Crews arrived to find a single-family residence with smoke inside the home.
They were able to quickly extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported, but two cats and a dog were found dead inside the home.
The cause for both fires is still under investigation.
