A man remains in the Forsyth County jail without bond on burglary charges following an incident from earlier in the month.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s office said in a social media post Friday that a female victim called deputies on May 9th after discovering the man in her home.
The woman was reportedly watching television in her living room when she heard her dog barking toward the back of her bedroom. As she made her way into the room, she saw that a window was open with the curtains moved to the side. She then saw Dylan Combs sitting on the floor at the foot of her bed.
The victim then ran out of the home and called authorities. Combs had left the scene by the time deputies arrived.
Investigators were later able to find evidence at the scene tying Combs to the entry. He was believed to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
FCSO said Combs’ neighbors reported that he was known to act “erratically” and had previously been spotted looking into the windows of nearby homes.
