A Gainesville man remains behind bars on felony theft by taking charges in a porch piracy case.
The Gainesville Police Department said in a Friday social media post Richard Whidby, 31, allegedly stole two packages from a home that were valued at over $600.
The packages were reportedly left by the doorway after being delivered.
No other details have been released in the case.
