Flowery Branch man faces exploitation of an elder charges

A Flowery Branch man remains in the Hall County Jail on an $10,900 bond following a domestic violence case involving two elderly female victims. 
 
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a home on the 6100 block of Bristol Way in Flowery Branch on the night of May 8. 
 
Preliminary details in the investigation revealed the two victims, age 71 and 68, entered the home, which belongs to one of the women. While inside the residence, the two encountered  Bradford James Bracewell, 34, who also lives in the house. 
 
Bracewell reportedly verbally accosted the women, using profanity. He then grabbed one of them by her arms, pinned her against the wall and shoved her to the side. He also allegedly  grabbed the other woman by her arms and pinned her against the wall, causing bruising. The victims then left the scene.
 
Deputies obtained  arrest warrants for Bracewell for the following charges: 
 
 
The following day, the department’s Warrant Service Unit went to the residence to serve Bracewell the charges from the previous day. 
 
Deputies reportedly  identified Bracwell as he looked out of a window when authorities arrived at the scene. From outside, deputies told him multiple times that he was under arrest and to come out of the house. He  allegedly refused commands. Deputies entered the house through the front door and arrested Bracewell without incident.  He was also charged with obstruction of an officer. 
 
Bradford James Bracewell, 34, of Flowery Branch faces two counts of felony exploitation of an elder person, among other charges.
