Banks County Sheriff’s Office assists federal agencies in arresting man wanted for murder in Mexico

The Banks County Sheriff’s Office assisted federal agents in the arrest of a man who is wanted for involvement in a mass murder in Mexico.

A social media post from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in Atlanta said Juan Carbajal-Montes was recently arrested in Banks County.

BCSO helped agents from ATF Atlanta, U.S. Marshals Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations to arrest the suspect.

Mexico issued an Interpol Red Notice for Carbajal-Montes.
