A single-vehicle crash in Forsyth County claimed the life of a 23-year-old man from Cumming.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), the wreck occurred at around 1 a.m. Sunday in the area of Heardsville Road and Frix Road in the northwestern part of the county.
An initial investigation determined that a 2022 Tesla Model 3 driven by Ashton Dickerson failed to negotiate a curve.
The Tesla left the roadway and struck a tree, and the vehicle came to rest in a cow pasture.
Dickerson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger was transported to North Fulton Hospital for minor injuries and the crash remains under investigation.
