Jefferson and Johnson are the final two area boys soccer teams left standing in the GHSA playoffs.
Jefferson, a 12 seed, held off Islands, 1-0, to advance to the semifinals of the Class 3A playoffs. On Friday, they'll travel to No. 8 seed Northwest Whitfield.
Meanwhile, in Oakwood on Tuesday, Johnson outlasted Chestatee in a 3-1 win to advance to the Final Four. The 10th-seeded Knights will travel to No. 3 seed Oconee County on Friday.
