Today is the final day to register for Gwinnett County's 2025 Youth Police Academy.

Today marks the final day for Gwinnett County's students in middle and high schools to register for a fun and educational event to learn about law enforcement.

Gwinnett County's Youth Police Academy (YPA) is designed to educate middle and high school students that live in Gwinnett County about the police department and how officers enforce local and state laws. The goal of the YPA is to create and develop a relationship with students and give them an opportunity to learn about the Gwinnett County Police Department’s role in the community and the delivery of services it provides.

The YPA is free and open to all students who reside in Gwinnett County and will be enrolled in 7th to 12th grade as of August each year. Each student must successfully pass the application process to attend the YPA.

Each YPA is a one-week session, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
