Habersham Central and Buford rolled into the Elite 8 of the GHSA girls soccer playoffs on Tuesday.
Top-seeded Buford shut out No. 3 seed Cherokee, 7-0, at Tom Riden Stadium in the Class 6A bracket.
Meanwhile, in Class 5A, No. 1 Habersham Central rolled past Kennesaw Mountain, 5-2, in Mt. Airy.
Also in Class 5A, Jackson County's season ended with a 3-0 loss to Greenbrier, and East Forsyth was eliminated by St. Pius.
