Buford, which spent much of the season ranked No. 1 in the state in all-classification poll, will open its 2025 playoffs at home on Tuesday along with four other northeast Georgia area teams on Tuesday.
The Region 8-6A champion Lady Wolves (17-0) will play host to Region 2-6A No. 4 seed Westlake as they look to make another run to the championship game. But they aren't the only region champ in action on Tuesday.
Region 8-5A champion Habersham Central (12-2) plays host to Lee County (5-7) at Raider Stadium while 8-5A No. 2 seed Jackson County (11-5) entertains Thomas County Central (10-5) in Hoschton.
