It's Easter weekend, and there are plenty of egg-citing ways to spend the week!

EASTER EVENTS
 
Event Name: Easter Egg Hunt, Gainesville
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 1 – 3 p.m.
Event Location: Midland Greenway
Event Details: Join the Easter Bunny and look for tons of eggs and fun at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The event is free. The egg hunts are divided by age groups. At 2 p.m. the hunts will be for ages 3 and under and ages 8-10 years old. At 2:45 p.m. the hunts will be for 4-5 years old and 6-7 years old. Hosted by the Gainesville Parks and Recreation. 
 
Event Name: Egg-Stra Fun Scavenger Hunt, Gainesville  
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 12 – Saturday, April 19, Daily 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Event Location: Don Carter State Park, 5000 North Browning Bridge Rd., Gainesville
Event Details: Celebrate Easter with a self-lead scavenger hunt on the Overlook Trail! Find a hidden egg or bunny, snap a picture, show the front office to win a prize!  
 
Event Name: Easter Egg Hunt, Dahlonega
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m.
Event Location: R-Ranch in the Mountains, 65 R Ranch Rd., Dahlonega
Event Details: Hosted by the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, this is a free community event for kids of all ages. Each age group will have their own area for finding eggs. Bring your baskets and fill them up to the top! You can also meet the Easter Bunny and maybe even win a prize Easter Basket!      
 
Event Name: Community Egg Hunt, Dawsonville
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 11 a.m. 
Event Location: Rock Creek Park, 445 Martin Rd., Dawsonville 
Event Details: It won’t be hard to find eggs when there’s over 20,000 of them! The egg hunt starts at 1 p.m. There’s toy and prize giveaways, as well as face painting, Kona ice, hot dogs, popcorn, inflatables and more. It’s a free community event with fun games and entertainment for the whole family.     
 
Event Name: Science Focused Egg Hunt, Dawsonville
Event Date & Time: Sunday, April 20, 11:30 a.m.
Event Location: Amicalola Falls, 418 Amicalola Falls Lodge Rd., Dawsonville
Event Details: Join a ranger to learn how camouflage is used in nature and make your own camouflaged egg. Then test your detecting skills by searching for camouflaged eggs that will challenge even the most experienced hunters! This program is intended for K-6, but all are welcome! Find us in Shelter 2.      
 
Event Name: Eggs-treme Scavenger Hunt, Cumming
Event Date & Time: Now through April 18
Event Location: Cumming City Center
Event Details: Every day at the Cumming City Center, 10 Easter eggs will be hidden for kids and two for adults to find. You can win prizes from local businesses! Enjoy browsing around the City Center shops and restaurants while getting in on the Easter fun!  
 
Event Name: Easter Parade and Egg Hunt, Commerce
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m.
Event Location: Spencer Park, Downtown Commerce  
Event Details: Commerce Main Street presents an Easter Parade and Egg Hunt. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Spencer Park. Then join in an egg hunt, train ride, pancakes, Kona ice and bunny photos!        
 
Event Name: Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Flowery Branch
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 12 – 8 p.m.
Event Location: Mulberry Springs Vineyard and Winery
Event Details: This adult-only event will be fun. Not only can you hunt for eggs, but also find some amazing prizes, all while enjoying live music and wine. Enjoy a local vineyard while having some fun for the holiday weekend. 
 
Event Name: The Golden Egg Hunt, Braselton 
Event Date & Time: Sunday, April 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Event Location: Chateau Elan Winery, 100 Rue Charlemagne Dr., Braselton
Event Details: Follow along on social media for curated clues that will guide you from one elegant corner of the estate to the next. Event Name: M-80’s: The Explosive 80’s Rock, Cumming

Event Location: Lou Sobh Amphitheater, Cumming City Center
Event Details: The M-80’s have been rocking to 80’s hits since 2007. This is a free concert for the community! Just bring a lawn chair or blanket. No tents or outside food and beverages.      
 
Event Name: Smokey Jones and the 3 Dollar Pistols, Cumming
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 7 – 9 p.m.
Event Location: Lou Sobh Amphitheater, Cumming City Center
Event Details: Smokey Jones and The 3 Dollar Pistols are not your average country band. They are swash buckling, bull riding, honky tonk legends in the making. Free admission and free parking.
