While its another limited schedule on Wednesday, a pair of big matchups will help shape the playoffs.
Buford (22-6, 14-2 Region 8-6A) can clinch the Region 8-6A title with a win over Dacula. The Wolves won Monday's opening game over the Falcons (15-11, 10-6 Region 8-6A) and can get the clincher at home at Gerald McQuaig Field.
Meanwhile, Habersham Central can clinch a playoff spot in Region 8-5A with a win over Alcovy at home. Also in Region 8-5A, Jackson County needs a win in its season finale against Apalachee to stay alive for a playoff spot.
And Gainesville opens a three-game series with Johns Creek in Region 7-5A with a chance to make a run at the region title.
