Another very light schedule for Wednesday on the diamond for northeast Georgia area teams with just two region games scheduled.

However, a huge week for Region 6-6A continues. Three teams are tied for the lead and six teams are within two games of first place entering Wednesday's action.

Forsyth Central (13-11, 10-6 Region 6-6A), which has won seven straight, South Forsyth (16-9, 10-6 Region 6-6A), and West Forsyth (16-9, 10-6 Region 6-6A) sit tied for first. Denmark (14-11, 9-7 Region 6-6A) is in fourth with North Atlanta (13-9, 8-7 Region 6-6A) just one-half game behind in fifth. North Forsyth (14-10, 7-8 Region 6-6A) is 1 1/2-games out of fourth in sixth place.

The Raiders, who have won four straight, took the opening game of their series with Denmark on Monday (5-3) and are at home against the Danes on Wednesday with a chance to catch them in the standings and win the season series. North Forsyth already owns a series win over North Atlanta, who takes on last-place Alpharetta (5-19, 2-13 Region 6-6A) on Thursday.
