FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff swept the doubles and took two of three singles win to beat Jackson County 4-1 in boys tennis on Monday.
In singles, Collier Vesseler (6-0, 6-0) beat James Rivenbark at No. 1 and Boston Murphy knocked off Jarrett Burch 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
At doubles, Jett Hewette and Neo Dang held off Harrion Chan and Avery Gordon 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 and Nick Bellew and Brady Woodward beat Owen O'Neal and Jaydan Little 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 to seal the win.
The Panthers got their lone win when Luke Hayes rallied past Baylor Oleksinski 4-6, 7-6, (10-3) at No. 3 singles.
