The Gainesville Police Department has identified the suspect in the Thursday night shooting of a Gainesville teen.
According to a Facebook post from the department, Pablino Garcia, 21, of Gainesville, is wanted in connection to a shooting at Wee Willy’s on Jesse Jewell Prky at Wall St.
The 15-year old who was reportedly shot in the incident remains in critical condition.
The post said investigators believe Garcia and others met at the store for an arranged transaction. During the meeting shots were fired, striking the teen multiple times.
Gainesville Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have been investigating the case. Garcia was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault.
