A Gainesville home was declared a total loss following a fire Wednesday morning.
The Hall County Fire Rescue said in a release crews were called to the scene on the 5500 block of Bogus Rd. at 10 a.m.
Once crews arrived on the scene, they discovered a small single-story residence was fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and remained on scene until hotspots were found.
The homeowner was accounted for prior to HCFR arrival and no one was injured on scene. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
