Early morning fire destoys a Gillsville home Monday

Hall County Fire Rescue officials are contining to search for the cause of an early morning fire in Gillsville Monday.
 
Hall County Fire Rescue's Kimberlie Ledsinger says that at approximately 5:30 a.m. they were dispatched to the 3600 block of Holly Springs Road in Gillsville for reports of a residential fire. First arriving units discovered a fully involved structure and began a defensive attack from the exterior of the home. 
 
Ledsinger's press release added that the bulk of the fire was extinguished quickly and crews stayed on scene to ensure every hot spot was identified.While no one was injured on scene, the American Red Cross was notified to assist the four displaced occupants.
 
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
