The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about a suspect in a recent Domestic Disturbance.

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Elliott Family Parkway for a domestic disturbance on Friday night.

A female victim reported being assaulted by a male who was identified as Joshua Lyle.

When deputies arrived, they were met by the victim, who stated that Lyle had weapons and was making threats toward law enforcement.

Attempts to contact Lyle were unsuccessful and it was later determined that he had already fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Warrants have been obtained for Battery – Family Violence, with the potential for additional charges.

Lyle is not believed to be a threat to the public, but the DCSO urges residents to remain cautious and vigilant.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office non-emergency number at 706-344-3636 or provide anonymous tips through a tip line at 706-265-4744.
