Buford will go for the sweep against Mountain View as the two teams finish their three-game series to open Region 8-6A play on Friday.
That is still the only region battle across northeast Georgia among the 14 area teams that are in action.
Habersham Central heads to Stephens County and Rabun County travels to Union County in a pair arch-rival battles. North Hall will play host to Eastside as the Trojans continue their tough stretch of non-region games.
