GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview girls got their 2025 campaign started in dominating fashion, routing Holy Spirit Prep 10-0 at home on Thursday in blistery cold conditions.
The Lady Lions led 7-0 powered by a hat trick from Kendall Mathis. Sadie Leek scored twice and with Addi Graham and Avery Wood had one goal apiece for Lakeview.
In the second half, Reece Syfan had a stellar varsity debut with a hat trick. Syfan, Leek, Mathis, Bianca Collins, Addison Farmer, and Mackay Vinton all had assists for the Lady Lions.
Avery Marshall, Anna Kate Westmoreland, Emma Gonzalez anchored the defense. Keeper Amelia Corbin had 2 saves to record the shutout.
