Officials in Franklin County are mourning the loss of a longtime member of their emergency service staff.
For over two decades, Paramedic deputy Pat Franks devoted his life to serving others. The Franklin County-Georgia EMS Facebook page on Sunday posted that he selflessly spent countless sleepless nights away from his family, faithfully answering any manner of call for help from his community. Beyond his service, EMS Deputy Franks was passionate about sharing his knowledge with the next generation of first responders.
Details about future services and arrangements for Pat Franks have not been released as of last publication.
Pat Franks is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, along with many friends and fellow first responders in Franklin County.
