Former Hall County bus driver indicted for alleged child molestation

A former Hall County bus driver has been indicted on 17 charges related to sexual crimes against children. 

Marvin Nathan Hogan, Jr., 43, was initially arrested on Aug. 6, 2021 following a six-month investigation into an accusation that he sexually abused a girl under the age of 16. 

A grand jury indictment Wednesday stated Hogan faces the following charges: 

  • Six counts of incest 
  • One count of aggravated sexual battery
  • Three counts of felony child molestation 
  • Five counts of aggravated child molestation 
  • One count of rape 
  • One count of felony sexual assault of a student

An indictment document from the Northeastern Judicial Circuit described a series of alleged acts that Hogan committed against three children, with some instances dating back as far as 2008. 

The Hall County School District issued a release at the time of Hogan’s initial arrest stating that he was put on administrative leave in Feb. 2021. He has not worked for the district since that time.

No start date has been given for Hogan's criminal trial.
