GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Cherokee Bluff knocked off Gainesville 4-1 on Thursday at Longwood Park.
The Bears swept the doubles while winning two of the three singles matches.
At No. 1 singles, James Rivenbark defeated Zane Loggins 6-0, 6-1 while Boston Murphy knocked off Saxon Stephens 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
In doubles, Brady Woodward and Neo Dang beat Andrew Maday and Rhett Griffin 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 1 slot and Jett Hewette and Baylor Oleksinski netted a 6-0, 6-0 win over Bridger and Garner at No. 2 doubles for the Bears.
Gainesville’s only win came at No. 3 singles when Jacob Norton beat Nick Bellew 6-1, 6-2.
