The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) is reporting a break-in at a grocery store in Lilburn.

According to a Facebook post, the unknown suspect forced his way into Supermercado El Potero on Beaver Ruin Road at around 2 a.m. on Feb. 4 by using a hammer to shatter the glass in a front window.

Authorities say he used a piece of wood to knock a camera off balance and then wandered through the store before leaving out of the rear door without taking anything.

Authorities believe the suspect is a white or Hispanic male with a medium build.

If anyone has information in the case, they should contact GCPD detectives at (770) 513-5300. To remain anonymous, you can also contact Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS (8477).
