A Saturday afternoon crash in Gainesville resulted in a temporary shutdown of SR 369 (Browns Bridge Road) in the area of Cherokee Trail.
Upon investigation, it was determined a Lexus NX 300 SUV was traveling east on Browns Bridge Road while a Nissan Titan truck was traveling west.
The driver of the Lexus, Maurizio Bullerdick, 24, of Cumming, failed to maintain his lane and struck the driver side of the Titan driven by Romulus Avolio, 39, of Gainesville.
Both vehicles came to an uncontrolled final rest on the shoulder of the roadway after the impact.
Bullerdick was cited for failure to maintain lane.
Avolio had a complaint of injury but refused medical treatment.
Andrea Davidson, 19, of Dahlonega, was a passenger in the Lexus and had no complaints of injury.
The roadway was partially shut down for approximately 15 minutes for the investigation and cleanup.
