A Flowery Branch man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly cut a woman with a pocketknife during an argument.
Derreck Booth with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies met with the 42-year-old victim, who told them David Mark Sailors, age 60, cut one of her arms twice with a pocketknife and fled the home on Norton Circle in a car.
Hall County Fire Rescue treated the woman's cuts and she refused transport to a hospital.
Later that day, Gwinnett County Police officers arrested Sailors on Buford Highway in Sugar Hill. Hall County authorities charged Sailors with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act and he was taken to the Hall County Jail.
As of Monday afternoon, he remained in the jail without bond.
