A Blairsville man was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 21 after a traffic stop led to the discovery of meth.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office said Deputy Keanu Nguyen stopped the vehicle of David Anthony Lowe, 44, on Highway 76 West.
“Probable cause was developed during the stop to search the vehicle. An amount of crystal-like substance, which field-tested positive for Methamphetamine, was confiscated,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
Lowe was charged with felony possession of meth, possession/Use of drug-related objects, obstruction of an officer, taillight requirement and failure to have a driver’s license on person.
