Man charged with possession of methamphetamine, crossing guard lines in Hall County

A man was charged with possession of Methamphetamine and going inside the guard line with drugs following his arrest earlyTuesday morning in Hall County. 

Gainesville Police Lt. Kevin Holbrook reported Joe Fernando Nolasco, 29, was arrested  Tuesday at 2 a.m. after he was allegedly found in possession of 16 grams of Marijana during a traffic stop near Jesse Jewell Pkwy. 

Nolasco was then brought to the Hall County Jail, where he was able to hide a gram of methamphetamine on his person and get it  into the jail during the booking process. A deputy discovered the methamphetamine, according to Hall County spokeswoman B.J. Williams. 

Nolasco was also charged with possession of marijuana in the case. 

 
Joe Fernando Nolasco, 29, was initially arrested early Tuesday morning for possession of marijuana, but later was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine while being booked into the Hall County Jail.
