Mother Nature has forced another round of game cancellations for today.
The entire schedule was postponed from yesterday, with nine games moved to Wednesday. As of 11:42 a.m. on Wednesday, only one game is scheduled for today.
Lumpkin County will travel to Pickens Wednesday night for a doubleheader. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
The Class 6A top-ranked North Forsyth girls game at Lambert in a battle for first place in Region 6-6A. A make-up date is to be announced. The Buford vs. Central Gwinnett Region 8-6A contest has been rescheduled for Monday.
The other big region matchup rescheduled for Wednesday, Chestatee-White County girls, has been canceled. The Class 3A 4th-ranked Lady Warriors (15-4, 7-1 Region 6-3A) are tied with No. 1-ranked Pickens coming into the night. Ninth-ranked Chestatee (12-6, 4-3 Region 6-3A) sits fourth after a loss to Pickens last week.
The Flowery Branch-Walnut Grove Region 8-4A games have been moved to Thursday at 6 p.m.
